Send Mr. Pollino on a Field Trip to the Mountains

Project Scenario

Your 4th grade teacher, Mr. Pollino, knows the Cascade Mountain Range inside and out. He has hiked in the Cascades, camped in the Cascades, gone skiing and fishing in the Cascades, studied the flora and fauna of the Cascades . . . But now he wants to visit another mountain range to see how it compares to the Cascades. Trouble is, he can't decide. Shall he visit the Rocky Mountains? The Alps? The Andes? Or the Himalayas? He'd like to spend his time in the mountain range that will give him some new experiences, unlike those he has had in the Cascades.

Mr. Pollino has asked for your help. You and your team will research a mountain range and prepare a travel brochure that will help him make his decision.
